Excited to share after 4 months our latest podcast by Martin Saupe, who has previously released with us as TonElite. Dark, progressive and sexy, this set is a stepping stone for GD toward a newer direction that we want to take in terms of the style. It is much more wicked than many of the previous sets we have released, timeless and majestic with a dark atmosphere as Martin Saupe’s music always is. Happy Easter and we hope you enjoy the set as much as we do.

Praveen Achary makes his presence in the Getting Deeper family for its 86th number in the podcast series. The India based producer and label owner of Juicebox Music has been quite a long wait for GD, for he is one of the few and most experienced artists we know of in this country who plays a sound that is widely loved in the GD community.
Along with the last three sets that were released here on Getting Deeper, we take quite a bit of pleasure to see that Praveen’s set, too, adds to the dark and sensual story that Kris Davis’ podcast started, followed by Bangalore’s Mental Machines and Mexico’s Arkadiusz. We have been digging this sound for a long time, but felt that much of it was lacking on GD. And now we are happy to see that we have created a nice stack of it in the podcast series.
Praveen’s set is a consistent journey of hypnotic, grandiose melodies and lush vibes. Smooth transitions and an impeccable tracklist makes this set a complete and wholesome listening experience. Perfect for long drives, afterhours and sunrise sessions.
Thank you Praveen!
As an anti-Monday set and an acknowledgement to the heavy weekend that many of us just experienced, it’s finally time to introduce the 74th set in Getting Deeper’s podcast series. Welcome Tim Engelhardt from Germany, age 16. How someone of such a young age can have such musical maturity goes beyond me. I was not only surprised when I initially found out but also very happy about the state of affairs in music today.
As much as haters might complain about technology and its effect on music, it is indeed opening wide doors for many, many talented and young artists. Genres are experimented with everyday from all age groups, perspectives and cultural settings only to give birth to newer and more wicked styles. For a person who truly believes in creativity and its importance to society, anything that pushes art forward and makes it progressive gets a big nod of approval from me.
Tim’s style of music is sentimental but in a very subtle way. Its inclusion of emotional melodies without being cheesy and intense makes his choices a collection of class. And so, I am very happy to present his set for Getting Deeper, which is a warm concoction of groovy sounds and deep seated beats. Makes me want to be in the water on a nice, sunny day.
He is definitely someone who we are going to keep a close eye on because it will be interesting to see how a young but musically developed person can further develop his skills within the electronic space. It’s something that is relatively new for us and arouses a lot of curiosity within us.
All in all, this set is much needed therapy. Gorgeous and absolutely lovely!
Thank you Tim!
