I am slowly falling in love with Nico Pusch… the kind of love that grows on you. Not that I didn’t like him earlier, I did. But now I can fully fathom the depth of his tracks. I can finally piece together all the music I have heard by him into one feeling: nostalgic and warm comfort… what Nico Pusch calls ‘cudderstyle.’
And that’s so ironical. Human emotions are complex that way. On the one hand you feel that warm comfort radiating from his tracks but on the other hand you feel a sense of nostalgia for something you had in the past or something you’re yet to have. A mixed and complex experience of the good and the missing; a representation of some of the most unsaid and universal of human longings.
But of course, if you have what’s missing for most of us, you are on the better side… for now.
Ahh all this is making this track sound depressing. But it’s not. It’s beautiful… listen to it.
Pure deep house love.
With a heart.
